Read Before Posting In The News Forum!

This forum is for posting and discussion news items involving veg*n and animal issues.

To start a thread you must post a story.

If you just want to discuss something without posting a story then please post in another forum. For instance, if you want to discuss Burger King and their new veggie burger but don't have a related story to post then you would just post in the food forum, not here.

If you are posting a news item not related to veg*nism or animal issues then please post it in the Veggie Patch or Compost Heap.

Please put the title of the story as the subject of your post. If possible include the first 2-3 paragraphs of the story (anything more is probably copyright infringement) and a link to the story (news stories are often moved or replaced).

Please use quotes, bold, or italics when quoting a story so that it stands out from any comments you add. The story should always go first, comments afterward.

I would like to add that anybody wanting to post a news story in this forum should check first to make sure that there isn't an existing thread about it. Yesterday three people started separate threads on that poor horse that got killed on the movie set.
