Hi all,
a while back, i think i heard about websites that help you know about how long your cycle is, and when your period is due. Does anyone use one or know of a good one? I don't mean for fertility charting reasons-- just to know when my period might be due based on the length of previous cycles. Like, an automatic email saying "Your period might start in two days" would convenient and cool. Do these sites exist?

There's also www.fertilityfriend.com (which is free) and www.ovusoft.com (which is not, but they have good message boards there).

I signed up to my monthly cycles, but when I put in dates, the web site said:
"There is a problem with some of the data you have entered:
* Cycle length of 56 days - too large for setup. Either adjust, or clear fields, and use Period/Menstrual Calendar to enter."
Not my fault I have a long cycle >_<

on any of these sites, can you go backwards, or does it just start from when you sign up? i mean, if I have on my calendar the last six months, can i enter that on the site?

Ok so I signed up on mymonthlycycles.com when you view the calendar it lets you go backwards and edit anything in the past, so you can enter in past periods.
What does CD stand for in each box? "CD 1" is the first say of the period, then it counts up each day until the next period starts. I just don't know what CD stands for. it actually says my average cycle is 28 days. weird, considering it has been seeming irregular lately. that's what made want to try a website in the first place. but the average changed as a added more periods, so it calculates it all together.

Cycle Day would be my guess???
OT, but a while back my girlfriend was looking for a way to figure out when she got pregnant. mymonthly has this link (http://mymonthlycycles.com/whencalcct.jsp?calctype=retropc) for a retro conception calculator. We did it and she figured it was accurate for her. I did my daughters and it seemed right too. Then we did my husbands and the date it gave was Dec 31. He was a little traumatized with this likely image of his partying parents haha
