Okay so I tried BONSOY soymilk...
Wow.. This is by far the best soymilk ive ever had...
I havent had a latte since becoming vegan and that was one thing I miss.
Basically I cant stand the soy taste of other soymilks..
After having a bonsoy latte I was very impressed.. :)
Anyone looking for a good soy milk try Bonsoy... :)
Bonsoy is by far the superior brand of soy milk!
Its made by the Spiral food company, here (http://www.spiralfoods.com.au)is a link for anyone who hasn't seen or tried it ...
I believe you can only buy it in Australia and New Zealand.

Yeah its fantastic..
I keep making lattes.. lol
:)

You can definitely get it at most Coles and Woolworths, its on the shelf in the health food aisle (usually tucked away at the bottom somewhere). I buy it in bulk from an organic store in Rozelle in Sydney, but its also sold at the Farmer's Markets and health food stores I go to.
Its great with chai, and as a substitute for dairy because it is creamy and thick.
I find it good but way overpriced. It's a little better but not twice the price better.
I'm happy to pay $3 a litre! I just realised that makes it more expensive than petrol. But what I don't spend on petrol I can spend on soy milk I suppose.

I searched Coles and Woolies today for this milk but I couldn't find it.
Not everything in the other states is available in my state though.

sybaritik, have you looked in the health food section as opposed to their long life milk section? Sometimes it's not actually with all the other milks, but is right at the bottom in the health food section. I find that Coles seems to stock it more so than Woolies does, in Canberra anyway.
In Canberra I'm paying up to $4.25 for a litre of Bonsoy, but I'm happy to pay that for it because it is definitely premium, divine and incomparable to other soy milks! Mind you, I don't actually have much of it though.
It tastes great in coffee - so smooth and creamy and no beany kind of taste.

I can't tolerate many soy milks brands so far except for the Coles brand. LOL. I'm strange. :p
But I'll have to Bonsoy though... it's expensive at my Coles. It has to be good then. hehe.

Is Bonsoy nice with a cup of tea, do you know erin? :)
You're right! Bonsoy is tucked away at the bottom in my Coles. Geeze, if it's good, they should put it up the top! That would make more sense!! :p :hamster:

I'm going shopping tonight so I'll have to remember how much it is there and post it back here! Fortnightly, so I don't run out of soy milk, I'll 1 litre of Bonsoy and 1 litre of the Coles brand that I always get. I'll buy more than 1 litre of soy milk when I have a good paying job LMAO. I don't drive so I don't have to worry about petrol, thank heavens.

I was completely lost and now I understand why I had never seen it in the store. I shop at a store called Jungle Jims that is a 6 acre International food store. They have EVERYTHING and yet, I have never seen it. I will inquire about it on my next shopping venture. My youngest daughter that is 4 y/o has not drank milk since going veggie. It would be nice to find a milk that she would actually like to drink.

Haven't tried/heard of it, but you people are convincing. I will track it down next time I'm browsing my health food aisle [which I only really go to for yackandandah sauce or sweet william lol]. I can't help but read 'bonsoy' as a bogan way of pronouncing 'bonsai'. Yeeeh mayte i killed me bonzoy.
It's so good in smoothies! And porridge too.

That's how much BonSoy was at my Coles... the funniest thing was that they used one of those 'LOW PRICE' pricetags. haha. Who are they kidding :D
Look for it cheaper guys. I get it at $20 for 6 boxes (ie, 6 litres) at "About Life" in Rozelle ... you need to find somewhere that buys it in bulk rather than a supermarket who gets a few boxes for the vegans in the area!

That's a rip-off when you think how much Coles are probably buying it for.

Totally! Unfortunately there isn't too much choice in Canberra so I haven't been lucky enough to find it any cheaper anywhere else, or in bulk. Sometimes I can get it on sale so I buy up big then.
