excalibur. preferably the 9-tray.

i thought the 4-tray would be enough and sometimes it is but having the extra space would be really nice for doing more and getting it done quicker.

+1 I have an excalibur too and love it. I like the 4 tray one that I have. It's the perfect size for me and my small projects. We did lots of research before we bought that one and I wouldn't own any other brand :D

I just ordered a 5-try Excalibur. :) Can't wait to start adding more and more raw food to my diet!

How much counter space do they take up? I have a small kitchen. Also, do they make lots of noise?

that's a good link for seeing sizes and stuff. we havea reallyreally small kitchen and it works just fine for us.

as far as noise, it can be a constant hum. with ours it's a lot quieter than an oven fan but if you're not in the kitchen, you don't notice it.

My mother has been using the American Harvest/Nesco dehydrator since I was a child and now I am using it and think its great.

i have a really old one, i think it's the Ronco. the one that was hyped up many years ago in info-merials. i've used it maybe 5 times and it didn't seem to work for me. hopefully these others are different..
