July 11th to July 14th-ish? I'm using it as a stopover to go see my grandparents in Spain, as NY has direct flights to Barcelona (Toronto will only go to Madrid).

Suggestions of omni-friendly places to go? My parents and brother are omni, though they're extremely veg-sympathetic, I'd prefer places they can truly feel at home in. They enjoy middle to higher end establishments (not so pricey you go 0_0 but good quality food and an enjoyable ambience for the right price) and I enjoy.. vegan food.

Any suggestions would be amazing.

We're gonna go see broadway and I'm hoping to convince my mom to take me dress shopping. Speaking of that--any stores that tend to have vegan-friendly clothes that are pretty? I havent done too much clothing shopping since last summer (I was not vegan then) cus its only in the summer I can drag my mom into stores to pay for me, hehehe...

(I will be with my parents but I'm sure if I ask nicely I can get a few hours away, if anyone so desires to meet up.)

Village Natural of Greenwich is a veggie restaurant that also offers fish. I love it, as do my omni friends. When I went with my boyfriend he got the salmon and said it was the best salmon he had had in a while. It's a nice atmosphere, and their organic wine selection is delicious. Not very fancy, but in the 15-20 dollar entree range. The spaghetti and wheatball is quite tasty as is the curry. You could also just go to Chinatown. There's food there for everyone. No promises on fancy though.

If you let me know what broadway play you intend to see I can see if I have a discount code for it. I have a number of them, including for spamalot and the little mermaid. just shoot me a message.

Candle79 and its more casual sister, Candle Cafe, are both on the Upper East Side. I've taken meat-and-potatoes omnis who were blown away by their food. Their menus are online.

Down on the Lower East Side, there's a cute boutique right across the street from Moo Shoes, called Kaight. It has pretty, eco-friendly clothing (not completely vegan, maybe some "re-purposed" wool, etc.) Also, there's a big Whole Foods on Houston Street that carries a good selection of organic cotton clothes like Stewart and Brown (cute tops and dresses, not just t-shirts.
