Everything is so darn expensive. After this week- I am going car free! Give me my bike back damn it.

i miss living in a city where i can just walk or bike wherever i need to go. i still don't have my full license cause i've never really needed it. we're in a rural area now it's 15 minute drive to get into town, no public transportation or anything. i'm feeling a little isolated but it also sucks for gas. the grocery store out here is expensive and small with crappy selection so we go into town to do our shopping. so on top of the cost of the food it's also a fortune in gas. in a few years we may be looking to get a new vehicle, i really want to go for a moderately sized hybrid, easy on gas but still roomy, he wants a truck :brood:
we shall see
meanwhile when i have my license i can take over use of a spare car my MIL has been using but i kinda hate it. it's not bad on gas compared to their other vehicles but still..
i wish i could go car-free, it'd be so much cheaper
