Hello there,
I hope someone here can help me. Does anyone know of the Graham Webb company? They make shampoos and such, my hairdresser recommends it for color treated hair.
However, I do not know if they test on animals or not? I use Aveda and Avalon now and while they smell great they do nothing for my hair.
I don't drive so any products I buy are from the mall that I live next to :) If it turns out GW is bad, well, I guess my hair will have to get used to Aveda for as long as I live here. There is a Body Shop here, has anyone tried their hair products?
Thanks in advance.

It looks like Graham Webb was bought out in 2004 by Wella and Wella looks to be owned by Proctor and Gamble so I would stay away from this brand.
ETA: If you want to describe your hair a bit, maybe I can give you some recomendations. Other than being color treated, do you have any hair concerns or basically things that annoy you about your hair that products could help with?

Well that suks, feh, the only thing I have to worry about being cruelty free is hair products.
My hair is very dry because of the color. I've tried various conditioners from the healthfood store like Jason, they are too numerous for me to remember. Mostly they left my hair limp and greasy or have no effect whatsoever.

Have you thought about trying Lush (http://www.lush.com/)? Specifically Jungle or Veganese for your conditioner. They don't test on animals, all their ingredients are ethically sourced, and a large amount of their products are vegan. I use a combo of Lush and my own creation. I'm not crazy about their shampoos on color treated hair (mine's not) but the conditioners would be good.
Also some salons have MOP which is good, honestly I'm drawing a blank when it comes to salon brands because I stopped using them.
I'm going to try googling around for more ideas.

I heart Desert Essence Organics. I have fine hair, it works great. It's all shiney and environmentally friendly. and to think, I was about to shave my head :)

i also recommend samy salon shampoo. i did a little review on it a couple weeks ago. i just started using it and i really like how it makes my hair soft. they have color-treated specific formulas i think. and it's not too expensive. actually found it at the dollar store the other day for like $2! but in the regular store is $5-6.

I use Aveda, but i think they were bought by Loreal if i remember correctly...and Loreal does test on animals i think  I also use Nature's Gate from WF's. It's Chamomile for color treated hair and it smells great and leaves my hair ultra soft.
