It's this website: http://www.thegrocerygame.com

You pay $1.25 a week for a list where they match up local grocery store sales and coupons so you can save money on your groceries. They just added Whole Foods as one of the available stores.

I've been kind of nervous about trying it because most coupons are for stuff I don't buy (there never seem to be any coupons for Tofu or soy milk or fresh produce.)

Has anyone else tried it? Is it worth it? I know that you can get a free week if you refer someone so if any of you uses it and thinks it's worth it, let me know and I can say you referred me.

To answer my own post, I've been using this for 2 weeks now and I saved over $100 last week. I didn't actually spend any less than usual (I spent about the same as usual) but I stocked up on a lot of stuff that was on sale.

Do you know of a system like this in Canada? On TheGroceryGame.com I can only type in an American zip code, which is 5 digits, and Canadian postal codes are 6 digits.

Looks fascinating seriously, but I shop at several stores every week and they don't have all the stores listed for my area that I would use... I save a whole lot just shopping sale flyers and "scratch-and-dent" specials and warehouse stores.

Maybe they don't have whole foods in every area yet. I'm getting the whole foods list in my area.

Wow. I don't know how anyone can afford to shop exclusively at Whole Foods!

lol. well, it's not so bad for a family of one. although, they just raised the price of cat food to $15/bag :brood: but i justify the additional expense of WF's because, i mean a vegan CEO?? definitely worth the extra bucks for me. i'm very particular with which company's get my money..

In Canada, I don't think that shopping with coupons is possible. No coupons worth speaking of, and only for crap when they do show up. So sad!

yeah, it is. i'm in ontario and i have coupons coming out of my ears :D

healthyshopper (http://www.thehealthyshopper.ca/products.php?categoryid=99) is decent if you buy products like milk alternatives, organic yogurts, cruelty free/vegan personal care products, laundry products, etc. the coupons stay the same for a year, sign up for a free membership and you can print them to your hearts content.

redflagdeals (http://www.redflagdeals.com/) isn't awful if you look around a bit and be selective. we had free paper towels a while back. woohoo!

The scratch and dent specials are the best. Some of my grocery stores have a produce rack with "old" produce. I go through fruits and veggies so fast so its totally worth it. I bought three bunches of bananas the other day for 50 cents. Most of them were brown but when I peeled them they were totally fine inside. I ended up freezing them and have been using them to make smoothies, milkshakes, ice cream and frozen banana pops.

AHHHHHH! SO GLAD YOU POSTED THAT!

I'm definitely going to try those. I'm in Alberta and I hadn't been able to find coupons for ANY of the stuff I like to buy (Nature's Path, Blue Diamond, So Nice, etc.)
