mmm. they smell good. and so far, they work well too!

i bought a few things at ulta this morning. my hair was already dry so the first thing i tried was the "Icing Instant Re-Styler." it's like a mouse/hairspray type product that can be used on dry hair. i liked it. gave my flat hair a little oomph.

when i took a shower this evening i used my new shampoo/conditioner for "smooth & shine." it smells really good, lathers well and washes out easily. conditioner was light but my hair feels soft (it's not completely dry yet tho).

overall, i give samy a .

anyone else using samy?

ps. they're vegan.

oooh, it looks interesting! i think i've seen this stuff around in canadia. and its not half as expensive as it could be. this stuff, right?: http://www.samysalon.com/line-samypure.htm

so, it really lathers? and this is the 'SamyPure' line stuff with no sulphates? one thing i hate about hippy shampoos like avalon organics and alba is that they don't lather for toffee. i neeeed proper lather.

is your hair dry or damaged? did it leave it soft, and not frazzled and frizzy? mine is pretty crunchy at the mo, and i'm looking for something that won't make it worse, but which also won't leave my oil-slick roots feeling manky and lanky.

thanks in advance for the more info. :D

Wow! I had no idea Samy was vegan! They made a de-frizz serum I really wanted to try but passed over it. Always said I would "look into it" LOL. Never did. That's why I love the section Product Reviews- thanks!

I've always seen them in these products in the store and wondered if they were any good. Thanks for the review . :)

I knew they were vegan but does anyone know if they test on animals? It says nothing about it on the bottle, couldn't find any info on the website and e-mailed them and got no reply...

i know it's dangerous to assume... but i usually assume if a company understands and advertises its products as vegan they do not do animal testing.

I know..I was thinking that they could be "accidentally" vegan.
