I don't know how long they've been around, I just noticed them. They seem like a fried chicken imitation. One of the best things I've had from them, very realistic with a nice flavor.

They're entirely vegan save the fact that there's sugar in it (I've heard that vegans have problems with sugar).

Try it with marinara sauce to add a nice flavor.

We love Gardenburger's herb crusted cutlets :). As burgers, or on top of some pasta with marinara sauce.. mmmm. They've been around at least a year that I know of. As for sugar, some vegans try to avoid it because of the bone char used in manufacturing, some for health reasons. But most vegans do eat products that contain some regular sugar, so I would assume they still qualify as vegan.

They do have honey in them, though, for those that avoid it.
