To which an extent can one use garlic as a raw food?Is garlic juice dangerous to the body?Do serious side effects of its use exist? If so,what they are?

From what I've heard, eating copious amounts of raw garlic is good for you. It actually has beneficial effects like lowering blood pressure (but for this to happen, I've heard, you pretty much have to eat a whole head each day).
If you eat a ton of garlic, your body will smell of garlic all the time.

Garlic is awesome and probably my favorite spice of all time. I can never get enough haha. As far as I know, there are no bad side effects unless other than stuff like not eating a lot of garlic when you are on blood thinners. This is probably because Garlic is a natural blood thinners and when you take synthetic ones like Coumdarin (sp?), which btw is rat poison, it would interfere.

garlic is wonderful and raw garlic is full of great stuff for our bodies. the sulphur in garlic helps the cardiovascular system. raw garlic is championed by that oprah doctor guy for helping with erectile dysfunction ( duh, cuz it helps the cv system!).
i give cooked garlic to my dogs and they never get fleas, i don't get bitten by bugs either.
also, my boyfriend and i eat about half bulb each a day (i can easily make dinner with a whole bulb) and we do not smell like garlic at all (just our breath b4 we brush!).

not at all, im a massage therapist and work very closely with my clients, so the way i smell (or not!) is very important to me and my work. no one has ever said i smell like garlic unless it was when i was cooking or eating...
however, we both metabolize quickly so that might have a big part of why we don't smell too.
