I just got a box of these...(the veggie frozen section doubled in my grocery store this week!)...They were excellent, highly reccomended. I thought gimmie lean was the best before these. I like how they seem really diner-ish greasy, but only 50 calories. They'd even be good plain, unlike gimmie lean. Theyre more homestyle, small but thick. For real, try 'em.

I've been trying to find these, to no avail. :( They sound very good!

These are the greatest. My husband simultaneously loves and fears them because they are so realistic. They have the nice sage flavor of "real" sausage. Very good texture too, crusty-ish on the outside, crumbly and moist inside.

I saw those at the store the other day .. almost got 'em but didn't 'cause they got hydrogentated fat in them :(

The sausages are really good - I tried them when the grocery store was out of the chik'n grill (my fave - also vegan), and they were way better than I expected - they don't taste like sausage at all to me (a good thing - I hate sausage), but they're excellent. A tad greasy for me though, so I blot them with paper towel.

I usually eat the morning star farms breakfast links... well... i do once a month when i eat a 'big sunday' breakfast! My dad is omni, and he eats them all the time and says he likes them better than the real thing, and likes that they're better for him :)

are the morningstar links vegan? I just assumed they weren't, since so few of their products are.

I didn't notice anything hydrogentated in the ingredients, could you lemme know what in them counts as hydrogenated?? or maybe we're talking about two different products :).

INGREDIENTS for Gardenburger Meatless Breakfast Sausage:

Soy protein concentrate-hydrated, canola and/or soybean oil, Contains less than 2% of the following: Yeast extract, Vegetable gum, salt, vegetarian sausage flavor (salt, maltodextrin, autolyzed yeast extract, gum arabic, natural flavor), sunflower oil. soy sauce (soybeans, wheat, salt), wheat gluten, natural flavors, caramel color, dried onion, water, dried garlic.

Anyway, I think they're really good. I like to cook a slice of tofu and sandwich them between an english muffin with a bit of dijon mustard. Yum!

The Morningstar Farms links aren't vegan, they have whey and egg whites in them. I just bought some for my husband (not vegan) last week. He loves them though. The ingredients list is about three times as long as the one for the Gardenburger patties, I think that's pretty significant.

Here's what I do:

crumble them into spaghetti sauce.
It's wicked-fresh.

Ok! I'm having horrible trouble finding these. (Searched three stores around town so far.) Has anyone seen them in either Whole Foods or Trader Joe's? I might make a trip...

We don't have a Whole Foods or a Trader Joes...I've never even seen or been to one :( I just found them at the regular grocery store.

I can't find them anywhere either (Chamberlins, Whole Foods, Albertsons, Walmart, etc.) :-/
