If you haven't been paying attention :whip: ... I volunteer with a great no-kill animal rescue group in St. Louis. We recently participated in a national competition on zootoo.com and earned a second place ranking out of nearly 1000 participating shelters! Zootoo is now touring the top ranking shelters to pick the deserving winner of a $1,000,000 makeover. We had previously been given a building with room to take so many dogs off the streets, but it sits empty due to the fact that the group doesn't have enough money to renovate. Needless to say, this is a great opportunity for us! Out of 970 shelters across America, Stray Rescue of St. Louis finished second in the Zootoo contest with close to two million points. This made Stray Rescue a finalist for the much needed million dollars for our city’s homeless animals.
