FINALLY. I love converse. Also, I am digging the program they offer http://www.nikereuseashoe.com/
They're not perfect, but they're certainly keeping up with the mainstream and putting in an effort.

That's groovy and all, but I'm still not keen on the whole idea of buying shoes made by a 8 year old in India working for 3p a day. (or similar)

I don't think they employ child labor anymore. If they did, there would be a lot more issues with them. The issue with the child labor is an old topic imo.
I'm going to write them a letter encouraging their fair labor practices next time I buy my converses. I figure, at least they publish where they have their factories, a lot of the vendors don't even do that.
