View Full Version : Vegan Shower Gel?

Hey.
I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of some vegan shower gel (aside from Original Source) that I could pick up quite easily, i.e. the local supermarket, also a decent vegan shampoo?

I just use shampoo as shower gel lol, i use co-ops own brand tea tree and mint shampoo, it's not great but it does the job.

Marks and Spencer have just got BUAV approved (actually it happened about a year ago but they've only just gotten round to changing their packaging to show the leaping bunny logo). I know if there's honey in their ingredients it's not vegan but I spoke to the assistant and she said ALL toiletries, perfume and make up is BUAV approved. They do a gorgeous coconut shower gel for £1.00.

I'm going to start a separate thread in a moment on M&S in the UK, you might want to check out the responses...

alberto balsam shampoo is vegan, cheap (95p I think) and available at supermarkets :)

erm... so a 4,000 mile round trip to the supermarket doesn't really constitute 'local'.

OP doesn't say where he's from. And on this side of the pond most people have a Target local to them.

Edit: Whoops... I'm so sorry. I found this thread hitting "New Posts", I didn't realize this was in the UK forum.

Yes it is. They make a wide variety of vegan household products and reasonably priced. Just too bad you all can't get the stuff in the UK afaik heh :) Still feel a bit embarrassed that I didn't notice this was a UK thread.
