Hey Chicagoans! IS and I are going to be in town from May 7th or 8th until the 10th. Is there anyone interested in meeting up on Friday or Saturday?

I'm always down for a meetup!! Saturday's always work better but whatever's clever!! I'm pretty adaptable!!

I'll be at my usual hangout. I wish St. Louis was just a suburb of Chicago so I could enjoy the meetups more frequently. Have fun all :D

I don't know that I'd be able to take Friday the 9th off from work (I could meet you in the evening, though), but Saturday the 10th is perfect for me...all day and night. Take me, I'm yours! :kiss:

I can probably make it up on the 10th. I mentioned it to John and Tricia the other day so hopefully they can make it too.

John said he wanted to go so as far as I know he and I will still be up there on Saturday. I *think* Tricia said she could probably make it too.

I don't think I can do both days, so I'm still in the planning stage. I take it on the 10th you're leaving around noonish?

We have to be at the airport about 4, so we'll have to leave a bit before then.

Well, someone needs to post an itinerary so I can make plans. :p I'd really like to stay both days but that probably won't be possible. Dogs are as constricting as kids sometimes. My nephew will also be having his 3rd b-day party sometime that weekend but I'm hoping that's Sunday.

I'm able to hang whenever... I work until 5pm Friday. My work is right at Belmont and Sheffield (just near Pick-Me-Up coincidentally :D) and I live at Irving Park and Sheridan, which is two El-stops away!

Friday for dinner, we could always do Chicago Diner- it's walking distance from my work! Or, there are a TON of veg-friendly restaurants in that neighborhood! Ethiopian, Thai... wherever strikes your fancy!!

It can get a bit crowded in there and there's sometimes a bit of a wait, but Saturday mornings usually aren't bad. But it's seriously one of my FAVORITE places in Chicago.

Pick-Me-Up works too... I just eat there so much already! But it's really easy for me to get to.

Someone needs to call me like a week in advance, or I'll get confused and forget. :P

Hm...I've been to Victory's Banner, and it was okay, but I don't remember it being very vegan-friendly, lots of eggs and milk in the pancakes, etc. It's been awhile though. The Diner has pretty decent breakfast, so I'd be up for them on Saturday too.

Or..we could go to the new Veggie Bite, and hang out in Wicker Park afterward.

I'll have to get the address of where ever we might meet so I can mapquest it. Carnelian has spoiled me. For the meetups I come to her place and don't have to worry about finding my way around the city. Driving in Chicago doesn't bother me so much, because I drive like 99% of Chicagoans do anyway. :p But not knowing where I'm going stresses me a bit. And I don't know the city at all.

I probably will end up coming Friday. It looks like it might work better than Saturday.
