I got introduced to protest music last night, and I have found that I like it alot.
Any suggestions?

That's pretty unspecific. Protest music isn't really a genre like rock, etc. so it's not all going to sound similar.
Having said that, KMFDM sound pretty good, and I think a lot of their stuff could be called protest.

What was the music you were introduced to? So.. we have an idea what else to suggest.

ect.

Neil Young. 60's/70's protest music is the best, because it still applies to now, if you interchange a couple words here and there...

Propagandhi; Earth Crisis; Defiance, Ohio; Immortal Technique
All very radical bands/artists from the top of my head. Propagandhi is a bunch of vegan political punks, Earth Crisis is a band of militant vegan straight edge hardcore kids, Defiance, Ohio is a folk punk band of anarchists, and Immortal Technique is an Afro-Peruvian socialist rapper who talks about CIA operations in South America, racism in the US, and general troubles of poverty and such. All great music.

Check out anarcho-punk, hardcore and metalcore. A lot of that is political, too many bands to name.

Spree, you may want to have this thread moved to a non-teen forum, there are a ton of folks on here who are not teens but have a lot of protest experience/eclectic musical tastes.
Rebbecca
(My current favorite 'protest' song is "Dear Mr. President' By Pink and the Indigo Girls. It's fairly mainstream but it's still kick arse!)

Whoops looks like I've done it again. Posting in a forum I shouldn't be posting in... Michael should bring back the different colour scheme for the teen and women's forum.

Phil Ochs is a really cool protest singer/songwriter from the 1960s. If you like Bob Dylan, you'll like him.

I endorse this list wholeheartedly other than Rage Against The Machine.
In other news, I was so sad when Against Me! sold out so spectacularly.
