On my first 'vegan' trip to the health market i wanted to get some items i should have in case i get a wild craving for something. I wanted to have vegan versions so i wasn't tempted to eat non vegan items in a fit of hunger! I bought 'cheese' and vegetable bullion and the most amazing cookie!

Its called "liz lovely" i got 2 cookie pack in 'ginger snapdragons' So amazing. They are made with wheat flour and molasses but arent anywhere near healthy for you. They are totally vegan with about 200 calories for 1/2 a huge cookie. 8 grams of fat and 2 grams protein. I bought them and kept them in the drawer in case i got a cookie craving which i did.. but instead of eating a totally not vegan (made with lard, milk and eggs) cookie i had my vegan cookie there for me. It actually tastes more amazing than any 'regular' cookie i have ever had. Just had to share with everyone.

fadeaway-- i LOVE those nana's cookies. well, mostly because I'm wheat-free, and the No Wheat Oatmeal Raisin tastes JUST like a regular one. the choco chip is good too. They do taste a little "healthy" I guess, not your traditional "makes-you-feel-super-sick-if-you-eat-too-many" cookie, but they're awesome and HEALTHY! when I was trying to gain a lot of weight I ate these a LOT since they are pretty high-calorie but filled with fiber and wholesomeness. It really helped! Now I enjoy them still as treats!

I much prefer ABC cookies, for so many reasons. Have you tried those?

Alternative Baking Company (http://www.alternativebaking.com/index2.cfmhttp://)Cookies are the BEST ever!!!! Try the Lemon Poppy Seed. If you can't find the at a local store order them online. I buy 5 every 2 weeks i keep them in my desk to use as snacks to get me through the 15 hour work days.

Yes, ABC's cookies ARE the best commercial cookies (I am getting a wholesale account with them this month, hopefully). :lick:

See, now I like ABC well too, but those Ginger Snapdragons are the bees knees.

I just love the saying "the bees knees"

Ditto. (Though I occasionally wonder if I should type the bees' knees or the bee's knees :p)

I love ABCs. But when I get them I always feel like I am eating something
very removed from fresh. I prefer the hard to find fresh baked product.
I always try a vegan bakery or store made product before I buy a packaged
item. There are these jelly cookies at Integral Yoga in Manhattan that are
amazing.
