Well, all the things that I would suggest are things that you probably can't do/get at work.
(Orgasm, hot bath, acupressure/acupuncture, herbs etc. so I'll just give you a  ).

Orgasm?? Really? Man, if only I worked in a brothel... I could go turn a quick trick and be on my way......

if you could rustle up some kind of warm compress to put on your tummy that might help... can you warm some fabric (like a winter hat?) on a radiator then tuck it down the front of your pants? photocopies nomally come out of the xerox machine pretty warm... you could try using a few of them? (lol- watch out for papercuts!). it'd probably be easier to put some hot tap water in a drinking water bottle and hold it over your tummy though, thinking about it.

put your cellphone on vibrate, sit on it, and call yourself from the office phone repeatedly? :p

if someone caught you, you could just wig out and have a pms moment, shout "damnit i have cramps and i need to fix it!!!".. i dare anyone to argue with that, hahaha.

Any chance you can get some kind of OTC painkiller (ibuprofen, Tylenol, naproxen) from somebody at work? If you can, take three; they may work better for you than the usual two. Take them with food, preferably. When I took 3, I'd get a stomachache.

The only other suggestion I can think of is to tell them you're sick and you need to go home. This is a legimate reason.

THEN CALL YOUR DOCTOR AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. There may be some other problem that exacerbates your cramping, such as a fibroid or something else. (not to scare you, but it does happen).

Also, you should keep something for your cramps in your purse and/or at work so you're not stuck without Midol or anything else when you really need it. Nowadays I always carry my special period painkiller in my purse during that time of month so I'm not caught without it when I'm out somewhere.

glad you got to feeling better..

a construction site at a jail... are the guys assholes? i have to deal with roughnecks at work right now..and lemme tell you, oil workers , um :(

at least they seem to be more interested in a wife (go figure) than just a piece of ass.

next week i get to deal with construction workers. yay.

No, they're all pretty great actually!! They're all older guys which was kind of a bummer but they're good dudes and we all get along really well. They're really supportive of my vegetarinism and always make it a point to include me in lunches and make sure we go somewhere with veg options. I bake them vegan cookies and brownies once or twice a month and they love 'em!!
