This is a certified "Yay me!" post. Please ignore if you dislike these!
In my senior year of high school (14 years ago), I ran two miles in 14 minutes. I know that is not very fast to "real" runners, but it was really fast for me at the time. I was so sore, I could barely walk for 4 days!
I've never really trained to run 2 miles, or trained to run more than just as a warm-up or a fun activity.
Today I went for a normal jog, no big deal, and found myself coming in at the 2 mile mark at 13:45! I was like, "holy *&#@!"
Thank you VB for keeping me involved in the veg*n community! :smitten: I am 99% sure if I had continued eating meat and milk I would not have accidentally reached this new peak.
