I am in love. I was at Downtown Disneyland and came across a Basin store. I roamed around the delicious smelling store and ended up purchasing 3 large bath bombs. I got Hidden Treasures, Fruity Slices, and Therapy. I used Hidden Treasures the other night and it was AMAZING. The tub smelled like strawberries (in a non-super-feminine way) and the water turned red. It was fun to hear/see it desolve. I've used bath bombs from hotels, but this product was so much cooler to watch! :D

You can order the products online (locations are limited... to about 3).

I e-mailed them about animal testing and a capsule in the hidden treasures (I suspected was gelatin). Here is the response I got:

"The small sponge capsule is made out of a soft plastic that is designed to melt in the hot water. We do not test on animals. We also care about the environment and everything in it. That is why everything in our store is natural and safe."

Support this company, buy from them! I promise their bath bombs are awesome! :)

Here's a picture (http://www.flickr.com/photos/markestes/333347651/in/set-72157594438282883/) someone took of the water after adding a basin bath bomb. :D

I love that on their site they say the lanolin they use is "synthetic so that we don't hurt any fuzzy little lambs". :sheep:

No, I can't tolerate even stepping in most commercial body product stores, and I only was at Disneyland for the rides with the teens. We only went in one store-The candy store with the penny arcade on the way out. :)

You can't tolerate it because the smells are too strong? I went into the Candy store too :D

Yes. I abhor chemically-scented stuff. Don't get me wrong, even natural essential oils can be strong, but the synthetic stuff is triggering for me in a nasty way.

I understand. When I walk by The Body Shop, it smells AWESOME, but it's also very very strong. You wouldn't like the bath bombs then, they smell strong.

If it's all natural essential oils and is free from nasty ingredients, I WOULD like them, I am sure.

Ok, I see. I read your previous post wrong. :p If you meet me at Disneyland on your next birthday, I'll buy you some bombs :)

I haven't tried their body butters. I have 2 from Bath and Body works that I love, but don't use them much. I have about 15 things of lotion I need to finish off before I buy more (I actually just bought 3 new lotions since they were on sale... so 18 lotions before I buy more) :D
