I jogged on the treadmill for 32 minutes last night!! Woot! Woot! I set my speed at 4.4 MPH and kept my heartrate at about 165 for 32 minutes!!! I'm SO excited!! When I first started working out I could BARELY last 3 minutes!! I have 10 TIMES the endurance now!! WooHoo!!

Good job!! I will eventually build up my stamina as well. We started riding our new bikes this week. We can last about 10 minutes before our legs turn to rubber. :D However, we need to get some "fatass seats" as our butts are hurting from these narrow seats.

That is awesome! Quite an accomplishment! When I started running 10 years ago I coul hardly make it around the track once. Slowly I built up to 30 min. I now am training for my 4th marathon. My focus is not endurance any longer but speed. Running has been addicting to me, it's my prozac!

Sweet, way to go! That really is great! Imagine where you'll be in another few weeks! :hamster:

So, uh....those Ace bandages are serving you well? :)

Way to go! Do you keep a journal? If not, please strongly consider it!

I agree! Keeping a journal is motivating :) It is easy to forget how far we've come in our fitness levels. It's good to write notes, too, on how you feel. Like "this workout was SO freakin hard. But I did it at least." And then 3 months later you go back and read that comment and it was about a 15 minute fast run... and you laugh because now you're doing 25 minute fast runs and 15 minutes would be a cakewalk!

Congrats on your achievement  I'm with KellyBon too - speed is a toughie but worth the focus.

Yep, I keep a food and excercise journal and have found it helps me tremendosly!! We also have a computerized program at the gym that you log into on each machine so I have back up of all my workouts there too just in case anything were to happen to my journal!!
