I know we don't have a lot of SCers, but for those of you around... where are you?
I was born in Columbia and moved to Aiken in 1989/90.

I moved to Greenville a year or so ago, and then even deeper into Liberty. Let's just say that this is most assuredly God's country.
It would be great to meet some of you guys if you're ever this way.

I was actually there last month. You didn't run over my bag or lose it. Delta did that in Dulles.

I'm willing to bet that it wasn't lost...just bumped.
This airport only handles smaller jets, and Delta handles all the area's live cargo(local pet stores ordering birds and fish), and people's remains(many of these large boxes daily).
Anyways, sorry about the probs. It happens.

From what the Delta baggage claim people in OKC said, I guess the bags were scanned and then not loaded for some reason or another.
Oh well, I got my bag within a day.
ETA: that was in Dulles too, not Columbia.

AJC21,
Sweet!
Same here. I work at the main airport for a regional airline.
My BF and I are about to look into water-excercise classes at the Downtown or Lexington YMCAs... Do you know any thing about either of those locations?
Welcome to VB!!!

Hello neighbors. I actually live across the Savannah in Augusta, but my wife goes to Columbia College. As such, I have eaten at Lamb's Bread on many an occasion. I also wanted to let those in Aiken, or along I-20 about the following if you didn't know: CSRA Vegetarian Society (http://www.meetup.com/csravs/). We do Pot Lucks once a month in Augusta, and two meals out at a local area restaurant, one in the Augusta area and one in Aiken. Head on over to the web site and sign up. I'd love to meet with some of you at a future meetup. Our next one is at Mi Rancho in Aiken on the 18th.

Hey SC peeps! I'm actually from Raleigh, NC and live in Boone, NC to go to college. My family has a house in North Myrtle Beach and I have spent almost every summer of my life there so it really is a second home for me. I think I'm moving down around May 15 this year and will be there for 3 months. Last summer was the very start of my vegan adventure and I ate like crap since I didn't really know what I was doing. I'm really looking forward to eating better this summer. I'm thinking there aren't any vegan friendly restaurants in the area though. :(

Last July, I moved from Connecticut to Clemson, and am in the process of relocating to Anderson. There aren't as many options for vegetarian eating around here as I'm used to, but honestly, more than I expected there would be.
