That has a pretty good list
You can also look up any of the people quoted in the list and most of them have more in their own sections.

This is my fave...not really veg*n, but more something that i think everyone should remember.
"For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than our own they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are brethren, not underlings; they are other nations caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the travail and splendour of the earth." Henry Beston

Albert Einstein:
"Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."
"It is my view that a vegetarian manner of living, by its purely physical effect on the human temperament, would most beneficially influence the lot of mankind."
George Bernard Shaw, Anglo-Irish author and playwright, 1925 Nobel Prize Recipient, (1856-1950):
"My situation is a solemn one: life is offered to me on the condition of eating beefsteaks. But death is better than cannibalism. My will contains directions for my funeral, which will be followed, not by mourning coaches, but by oxen, sheep, flocks of poultry, and a small traveling aquarium of live fish, all wearing white scarves in honor of the man who perished rather than eat his fellow creatures. It will be, without the exception of Noah's Ark, the most remarkable thing of its kind ever seen."
"The average age (longevity) of a meat-eater is 63. I am on the verge of 85 and still at work as hard as ever. I have lived quite long enough and am trying to die, but I simply cannot do it. A single beefsteak would finish me, but I cannot bring myself to swallow it. I am oppressed with a dread of living forever. That is the only disadvantage of vegetarianism."
"People ask me how I look so young, I tell them I look my age. It is other people who look older, what do you expect from people who eat corpses?"
Neal D. Barnard, M.D., President, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. Washington, D.C:
"The beef industry has contributed to more American deaths than all the wars of this century, all natural disasters, and all automobile accidents combined. If beef is your idea of 'real food for real people,' you'd better live real close to a real good hospital."
Harvey Diamond:
"You put a baby in a crib with an apple and a rabbit. If it eats the rabbit and plays with the apple, I'll buy you a new car."
Axel Munthe:
"The wild, cruel beast is not behind the bars of the cage. He is in front of it."
Isaac Bashevis Singer:
"In their behaviour toward creatures, all men are Nazis. Human beings see oppression vividly when they're the victims. Otherwise they victimize blindly and without a thought."
Theodor Adorno:
"Auschwitz begins wherever someone looks at a slaughterhouse and thinks: they're only animals."

Check out my sig line.
Your sig creeps me out a bit. Why did he have to start spouting stuff about "if we are superior". and the "lower animal world".
If Gandhi were still alive, I'd go and give him a long lecture about anti-speciesism.
One of the reasons some nazis do not eat meat is because animals are "inferior" and they do not want to fill their body with the flesh of "inferior" animals.
Oh, and for the OP. Check my sig.

I see it more as a challenge to the whole "humans aren't animals so it's ok to kill animals" mentality. Which pisses me off the most of all the excuses for carnism. It's saying, "If you really believe you're not an animal, why do you justify your behavior this way?"

I'm pretty sure that you made it clear in the OP that the intention of the thread was for your page and sig, so I can't imagine why it would be a problem. Anyone can use them.
