Hey :)
I just moved to GA over the summer. I don't live IN augusta, but I go there often. I was wondering if anyone knew of any veg resturants in augusta, or resturants with good veggie options?

Bee's Knees (http://www.beeskneestapas.com/) is in downtown Augusta, and has some vegetarian and vegan options. The New Moon Cafe, also downtown, has some vegetarian-friendly menu items (mostly lacto-ovo), and the staff is nice about identifying choices that are suitable (or not) for vegetarians. New Life Natural Foods on Washington Road has a small eating area; haven't tried it, but the store is veg-friendly, so I would think their menu probably has some choices that are, too. Hope that helps.

Yes, I love New Life. They're a small, locally owned business with a really nice selection of veg- and eco-friendy stuff for their size. There's very little that I've gone in looking for that they have not had on hand. Nice, helpful staff, too.

I have been to the Life in Marietta. They have a pretty good selection. The Life Cafe' was actually the first place I had a veg meal. The barbeque tempeh burger...I have decided I don't like tempeh though. It has a very wierd texture. But all in all, Life is a good place! If you are ever in downtown, check out Sevananda in Little 5 Points....they have the best selection I have seen yet.

When I click on the link you posted for the veg society, I get this:
"The page you're looking for doesn't exist.
Search or browse for Meetup groups."
