Hi, structure of composition of how nutrients interact I guess is what this thread is about, role play of various nutrients in short (with bias for ACTIVE PEOPLE) :)
As this is kind of my own project --random they it may seem-- I don't wanna post this anywhere else, I want this to be a thread, for identifying in reasonably professional manner, as much scientific elements of nutrition for the bodybuilder and fitness enthusiast as we can, and at the same time things that help anti aging.... And other stuff relevant for the active body or athlete to know to sustain growth or performance in a way that is NOT detrimental to the body....
I've made a little tiny start finding out what some scientific nutrient names are called and what they do I have to do work on some more.... but anyway at least I'm attempting to make clear the goodies and baddies of the nutrient world, and whether good or bad, may be naturally
made apparent, by how the body works but how best can we can get the good stuff to do the optimum best for us (active people especially) without undue damage to our bodies is what this thread is for :)
As I say I've made a start here hopefully sort of on the right path ---ahem--- allbeit humbly taking a look as some nutrition data of benefits and function et all and interaction of nutrients with other nutrients ETC, and so here I am, ever the fitness enthusiast YET STILL after YEARS of fitness (!!!) STILL trying to grapple with some fundamental but vital aspects and where need be in some detail in this thread....
I'll begin naming whatever I can find for good or for bad, in a somewhat random peicing together way as thats the stage I'm at, despite what I might like to PRETEND I KNOW, so anyway whatever few bits of the picture at a time, lets have them noted... So lets UNDERSTAND (for our individual needs) HOW THE BODY DOES WHAT WITH WHAT and WHAT SORT of NUTRITION on the body WORKS WELL IN COMBINATION WITH WHATEVER (and/or stuff that works against us or stuff that is harmful on the body or detrimental or counterproductive in for example too large a dose of something) .....BUT NO MATTER ABOUT BEING TOO SPECIFIC, AS THIS IS A LEARNING EXERCISE ON THE WAY TO BEING SPECIFIC AND MORE ACCURATE AND CORRECTING OURSELVES AS WE GO.... Naturally the body is a factory of a lot of ingredients yes, so that is the holistic outlook, but piece by random piecing together on the way to understanding what makes our bodies work smoothly and as one with us is I suppose okay for now.....
sure examples }}}
GOOD STUFF ???
Good in moderation I suppose these are: but the best of the GOOD stuff I would guess, especially for a body builder....(or I hope at least I am on the right sort of path?)
nitric oxide ---- << vascular blood pump thing for helping build musle quicker and bigger.
amino nitrogen << active person essential acid thing. (duh, but good for BBers so I understand)
BAD STUFF ???
This next thing I got reading about was this BADDY so I understand !!!
^^^^^^^^^^
Homocysteine with &/either Sulphur (OR working together?) forms EVIL ring of molecule element in muscle ? and is as you see is a natural but EVIL byproduct of protein, if the body does not process it well enough.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Would that be right / near enough accurate?? (understand this is all a work in progress for me, I am not an expert and I doubt really many ppl are if they are being honest with themselves... I mean not many ppl go around checking out the molecular role play of nutrients without just cause ALTHOUGH PERHAPS MORE OF US SHOULD (AS STANDARD HEALTH COMMITAL PERHAPS THAT WE OWE TO OUR TRIED & TESTED WELL BEING)), AND... HEY IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE HARD WORK FINDING OUT I'M SURE, (although it does require a little dedication naturally) WE HAVE THE INTERNET TO HELP US FOR HEAVEN SAKES!! SO HELP THIS THREAD GROW IN ITS KNOWLEDGE) :)
