University in the UK

So, for me the time is rapidly approaching for me to move away to uni in September. I was just wondering if anyone else on VB is starting uni this year? Where are you hoping to go? What do you want to study? etc...

I just had an interview at Birmingham uni to study Fashion Management, not quite sure how it went though, they said they'll let me know in about a week. I've got another interview at DMU in Leicester on the 29th of January to study retail buying. I've also applied to study Fashion marketing at Northampton uni, haven't heard anything from them yet though.

I'm on a gap year so I'm a year older but starting Uni next year :) I'm going to University of York to do Computer Science next year.

Good choice isowish. I don't know anything about the university itself, but York is lovely. I go down there for meetings, to the Mansion house, the Mayor's place.

Ah, I've just got back from the university of york. I was there earlier today! It's a fairly nice campus.

I'm an art student aswell, so I should have done it through route B, but my tutor wrongly advised me to go through route A, so now the interviews are coming too early and I have hardly any good work in my portfolio :mad:

It might not be all bad - they have to accept a certain amount of Route A people, but most people choose to go Route B, so there's not as much competition if you go Route A, I think. Good luck :pibo:

third year of study aargghhhh! the first 2 years were OK, but i really like this year!
Someone please give me an idea for my dissertation, I'm being really slow and have decision making and self confidence problems = cant think of anything "good enough".

I had that problem with dissertation options, thinking of titles and all. However, my course allows me not to do a dissertation, and do a 100% exam assessed module instead.

Oooh i kinda go to the University of the West of England too, as my uni is linked to it... i'm doing equine business management, and business side of that comes from UWE lectures. If that makes sense!
