sokay, not sure if this is the area to put this thread, but if a mod can move it somewhere more fitting, that would be cool.

So yesterday i went to my library, got myself tons of books and I'm just wondering what some people think of these books, or specific places i should look at, or even which book to read first cause its so damn good haha, so list awayyyy:

Diet for a New America by John Robbins
Vegan The New Ethics of Eating by Erik Marcus
Student's Go Vegan Cookbook by Carole Raymond [Read this first, good introduction and lots of quick facts, useful, made a yummy mushroom saute last night]
Mad Cowboy.... by Howard F. Lyman
Vegan Cupcakes... by Isa Chandra Moskowitz
The Quick & Easy Vegetarian Cookbook bu Ruth Ann Manners & William Manners [i figured i could veganize a bunch of the food]
The Mediterranean Vegan Kitchen by Donna Klein
Sinfully Vegan by Lois Dieterly [gosh it looks yummy haha]

I'm waiting for a couple other books to get returned like The Chiny Study and La Dolce Vegan

So....any comments?

The first two I actually read, the other ones I don't know but they are probably good. Diet for a New America is awesome, but if you read that you have to check out the Food Revolution, it's like the sequel. Vegan: The New Ethics of Eating is pretty much like Diet for a New America just shorter.

oh gosh...today i read the foreward and afterword and i decided that i just have to actually buy the book (diet for a new america)....its pretty much pure genius. and considering that he has all his sources sited, it would be easier to point it out to others (like my mom) that somebody has actually done their research (instead of just follow what the media tells them).

i have to put the book down, im just itching to write/highlight all over it haha
