Does anyone know of a good vegan cat food besides Evolution diet? My cats loved the dry food, but I've had the worst customer service experience with them ever, so I am choosing not to support them.
Details in short: Long delayed order (over a month) without notice. Was sent 1 pound instead of two pound package that I ordered and paid for. Will not refund the difference, will not send missing food or reply to phone calls or e-mails.
Anyhow, they are eating Dr. Weils Promise, so better than others. Any other brands anyone here has had success with?

Yeah, I've heard really bad things about Evolution. My kitty gets AMI food, which I order from downbound.com. :)

I used to feed my cats this too. I had no problems with downbound.

Please be careful with Veggie diets for Kitties as they are by nature carnivores, and require Taurine for adequate development. Dogs on the other hand do not need Taurine, which is why it's common to see Veggie dog diets. I'm sure someone else has posted this but it's so very important I had to say it again. Cats can't synthesize the compound on thier own which is why it's added to food- so be sure it's on the label ;-) Lack of Taurine can cause cause retinal degeneration- hopefully I didn't spout off too much! I've been away from the boards for ages but slowly making my way back!

Vegan cat food is made by vetrinaries. It contains taurine.
My cats ate AMI's food but I tries to give them Benevo's food and they liked it so much that they didn't want to finish AMI's food. Now, I give them only Benevo's dry food. They begin mad then I give them Benevo Duo :

Benevo contains avocados, I always heard avocados were bad for cats and dogs...
