It's okay to laugh, I did when I first discovered this.

The left side of my body is complete rubbish.

My calves are stiff, my arms are jam, and to top it all off, I even think my side obliques on that side are a little less firm.

So, Which would be better:

Soley focus on that side of my body for a few weeks or so, till it all evens up
Keep going as i am, and hope it catches along,
Spend extra time on it, but still do my usuals.

Also, after my left side catches up to my right flexibility and strength wise, how can I modify my normal work outs to suite it, since I guess what I'm doing is neglecting it. (Or it's stubborn.)

Interesting. This is normal, most people are stronger/more flexible on one side than the other. Just think, if you are right-handed, how much more you use that side of the body than the left. Not sure what kind of exercise you do, but from a yogic standpoint, I'd suggest spending twice as much time on the left side as right. Thus, if you hold a stretch on your right side for five breaths, hold it on the left for ten. Same for strengh exercises. I wouldn't try to really focus on increasing strength or flexibility on the right side until you feel the left side has caught up a little more.
Also, from a yogic standpoint, the left side is the feminine side. IMO, I think it's common for a lot of people for this side to be a little less developed. Most of the time when functioning in the world, we act from the 'masculine' side.

Most of us are usually weaker on one side then the other. I am stronger on the right side because I favor that side and I am right-handed. You can try isolating exercises. I teach spinning classes and we isolate by using one leg at a time. When doing resistance training you can also isolate and do one leg at a time and one arm at a time. You can train one arm at a time for almost everything and one leg at a time. Usually I will train with both legs (3 sets) and then train w/one leg (2 sets). Hope this works for you!!

I've noticed that my right side is weaker than my left side, which is odd because I'm right handed. I can't hold yoga poses or do lunges quite as long on my right side. I think it is normal for one side to be weaker than the other. I'd just work that side harder. Keep doing your normal work out, but maybe add a light weight in on the left side. When I do lunges on the right, I use a light 5lb weight right now in hopes that I will "catch it up".
