I love the book, although it is missing some things. Like servings or the total quantity of a recipe like frosting, and how to store the finished product. I haven't had the chance to try anything yet, but can't wait. If you have tried the recipes can you tell me what you thought of the chocolate or blueberry moose?

I just got it too, I tried the vanilla cupcakes, the ones at the beginning of the book with chocolate frosting. They were great! The frosting I tried made about double what I needed. I'm looking forward to trying the other recipes.

No offence to people that like this book, but I see little point in buying a cookbook solely dedicated to cupcakes.

... They're delicious, thats why! Though, I wouldn't spend my own money on it, I got it as a gift.

Sounds like a delicious book. I might glance at a copy of it to see if it is worth buying.

I've had great success with the recipes I've tried in it so far! :)

That's what stopped me for a long time. I was always asking if it was worth the money, because I don't really make a lot of sweet food. I decided to get it with an amazon voucher the other day though, it was only £6 something and my vegan friends would like to try some recipes too.

Maybe I'll have a cupcake party. That was my reasoning for buying a sandwich toaster. Toasted sandwich party. I've yet to organise it, but I will. So many possibilities...

I got the book as a gift to, and never thought that i would buy this book. It seemed kind of pointless to me to, but it is fun to look through and has some recipes that i could find no where else. By the way i tried the natural agave icing today and it was AWFUL!! Tasted like wall paste, not that i have ever had wall paste. i was wishing it would be really good because i would like a healthier option for frosting.

I really like the book and have made about half the recipes, but haven't tried the chocolate or blueberry mousse. My favourites are probably choc mint and the apricot-almond ones. The frosting recipes definitely make way too much though, I don't usually make full recips of them.

I bought VCTOTW earlier this week, and I've only made one recipe out of it, but I'm in love. I baked a double batch of the margarita cupcakes (minus the tequila) and it was more like 28 cupcakes instead of the 24 the recipe was supposed to make. And the frosting recipe also made too much, but maybe my measurements were off. Since I bake things several times a month, I feel like I can get some use out of this book. I can't wait to bake more of them.
