Sometime when I run I like to listen to music and I'm getting a little sick of what I have. I was wondering if any of you can make suggestions as to what songs you like to listen to when running. Thanks!

(By the way, I'm open to any types of music)

I listen to everything when I run... Some songs/CDs I listen to off the top of my head are Lifehouse's CD Lifehouse, Maroon 5 Songs about Jane, Running Away by Hoobastank, some John Mayer songs, Right Here by Staind, a few Evanescence songs, Norah Jones, Blurry by Puddle of Mud, Halycon +on + on by Orbital, Far Away by Nickelback, I Love You Always Forever by Donna Lewis...

Agree about Evanescence (not the soft, pretty songs but the ones with tempo)
I basically like a fast tempo, and heavier guitar stuff.
Tool is a big favorite. Foo Fighters. Some Red Hot Chili Peppers.
So long as it's fast and drives me onward, it's good with me.

I like to listen to Captain Jack music while I exercise. It's really upbeat and makes you want to move. I'd suggest "Heyo Captain Jack" and "Dream a Dream". "Dream a Dream" is on the version of DDR I own, and it really makes you want to jump around!

I like the Podrunner podcast too, but sometimes you want to hear some lyrics, ya know?

I always recommend Marilyn Manson, Andrew WK, and Linkin Park. Angry, heavy stuff gets me pumped. Try downloading "Ready to Die" by Andrew WK, "Faint" by Linkin Park, and "mOBSCENE" by Marilyn Manson. Let me know what you think!

Usually whatever music I am hooked on at the time helps me the most when I run. For example, I have this weird obsession with Dave Matthews at the moment. (Don't try to understand.)

if anyone likes widespread panic, i love to work out to "you got yours." some of that guitar stuff makes me think of stripper music. other than that, rob zombie, guns n roses, motley crue, methods of mayhem, that song "i believe (in a thing called love)," britney spears (im embarassed but a lot of her greatest hits cd is the kinda music that makes me feel sexy when i workout/run."

MP3Running.com has running tracks (http://www.MP3Running.com) that you can download to your ipod or MP3 player. The tempo of the tracks are made to match your running gate and you can download tracks that feature a running coach giving you tips and instructions while you run.

No music when running here for safety and enjoyment reasons.

My suggestions:

Rob Zombie
Rage Against The Machine

Are just two that I find really good to run or walk too.
