I've been teaching a children's yoga class for some kids that are in my family's homeschool co-op. The kids are in about first grade. So far, everyone has followed directions really well, I am just trying to find a fun way to wrap the class up.

Everyone is really excited when they come in, and they want me to make copies from my yoga book so they can keep doing yoga at home. I just need some fun ideas on how to bring the class to an end. The class was completely free, so I am trying to keep the last day as low cost as possible. Any ideas?

Have a yoga party! I would have the parents sign up for different dishes to have a potluck party. Have the children prepare a 3-5 (depending on age) sequence to show their parents what they have been working on. Then, the children can become the teachers and show their parents how to do a few poses.

That's a good idea. Not a lot of the parents stay in the class room. To be honest, I'm not sure where they go! They are all supposed to be helping me with this class which is part of the co-op agreement. :whip:
