:help:
Having sworn off leather more than a decade ago, I'm finding that my closet's filling up with faux-leather shoes in need of either repair or disposal.
I'm hesitant, however, to take them to a regular shoe repair place, as I've had negative experiences in the past ranging from attitude ("What do you mean you don't want me to patch it with leather?") to materials (I'm sure some of the glues they use contain animal remains) to quality of work (they just don't know what to do with vegan shoes!).
Can anyone recommend a good vegan shoe repair place? Ideally it'd be in New York City, but I'd even considering shipping the shoes somewhere rather than just discarding them altogether.
Thanks,
D
