I was looking for some heated cat beds on e-bay to give my fur kids for Christmas and stumbled onto a treasure trove of REALLY NICE new cat furniture being sold for super cheap.

I won the exact cat tree I wanted to get them but thought I couldn't afford for about half of what it cost when I found it on sale. I know lots of VBers have cats so I thought I'd pass the info along. I never thought to look for cat furniture on e-bay.

You just put in "cat furniture" into the e-bay search, I didn't want to promote only one seller by linking to their store, since there are so many.

I got this one for 78.50 by using the auction rather than buy-it-now

i asked how much it would cost to ship one to Canada and they said $112. it was up for bidding at $0.99 lol
they're nice though. i'd love to get a nice tall one that the dog can't get up so the cat can get away from her

Yeah, how they do the pricing is pretty funny (only .99 of that 78 bucks was my bid, the rest was "shipping") but it's WAY less expensive than anything else I've found.

I picked out that post to get them for Christmas in like July, and I didn't think I would be able to swing it. Gotta love E-bay!

I'll post what I think about it when we open it, but I'm wrapping it and putting it under the tree (yes, I am insane) so they won't get it until right before I leave for Christmas. I researched the company that makes them a bit before I bid and they're supposed to be really really nice. I like that they have faux fleece instead of carpet on them.

For those looking for cat towers, check out PetEdge (http://homeandkennel.petedge.com/catalog/thumbnail.jsp?parentCategoryId=194&categoryId=222&subCategoryId=416&N=2445&Ns=PRODUCT_SEQUENCE_NO|0).

They're a groomer's supply company but the public can order too. I've bought comparable towers for as little as $39 when they go on sale.
