I have been searching throughout the internet but have had no luck in trying to find out whether or not Nylabone dog bones and Denta Green dog bones test on animals.

I am hoping that maybe someone on here may know the answers.

The only thing that I found was on "Ask Carla", a PETA site, that mentions how Nylabones are safe for dogs now since they improved certain things about it, after having had a few dogs choke on them.

I am thinking and hoping that if they were tested on animals it would have been mentioned at that point.

Anyway, if someone knows the answer to this. I would really appreciate it.

I just bought my dog Nylabones and Denta Green bones but have not opened them for her yet and saved the receipt in case I find out that they do test, this way I can return them.

Question: How would you differentiate between harmful testing on animals and giving them to dogs to see if they like them in this situation? I can't imagine they wouldn't do any testing to see how long they lasted, whether dogs liked them, etc.

I don't think he's talking about 'animal testing' in the meaning of "Oh, here Roover, eat this bone and tell me if you like it!"

To the OP: I'm not sure if they test or not. Why not email the companies directly?

Wow...you'd need some specifics about the testing...

The difference being, whether or not ANY kind of the testing was done using thier OWN NON-PET dogs, regardless of whether it was just taste-testing.

It's possible, though, that they reformulated it, and then did a doggy-focus-group - for lack of a better word...

Please post if you find out!
