I need some help finding a purse for school... I have this (http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?catId=cat90108&productId=0427_7555) one in dark blue right now... It's the perfect size to hold a few notebooks, pens, pencils, and a graphing calculator.
Any ideas?

yakpak (http://www.yakpak.com/catalog/partlisti.aspx?CategoryID=211) has some pretty cool lookin' handbags. they come in a bajillion colours and prints too.
dickies (http://www.yakpak.com/?serverid=dickies) aint bad either- bit cheaper than its sister site too.
jansport has some nice bags as well- i like this one (http://www.jansport.com/js_product_detail.php?cid=11&pid=TJA5) in every one of the pretty colours/designs.

I'm having this problem too. My old purse is a backpack-style one made of faux leather, but a strap broke. Apparently backpack-style purses have gone out of style since I can't seem to find one anywhere, much less a vegan one. Anyone have any suggestions? I specifically want something that can be worn backpack style, but that is not "sporty." Big enough to fit a water bottle and a wallet in. It can be faux leather or fabric.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but maybe people will have suggestions for both of us...

Here's (http://www.katespade.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2248203&cp=1863853.2269699) a vegan designer bag (why do they all have leather?!) in case anyone is interested. I'm not a fan of how it says "kate" on the side because I don't like labels to show... But that's just me.

Matt & Nat bags are expensive, but gorgeous, and they have big ones that would work well for school.

Another idea is to check ebay for Matt & Nat stuff. Or type in vegan bag or vegan purse to the search field on ebay. I've seen (but have never purchased) some really fantastic bags on there.
Also, ebags.com has different categories for eco-friendly and faux leather bags.
