Where to buy vegan pasta bake sauce?

The other day i was out shopping and saw jars of sauce for pasta bakes... i thought ooooh i haven't had anything like that for years, but all of them had milk in them :(

Does anyone know any that are vegan?

you can make your own, if you have sarah kramer's books? In one is a recipe for vegan sloppy joe. I make the sauce recipe as pizza and pasta sauce. It's sooooo much better than jarred sauce!

I don't have any recipe books really, only a tofu one which doesn't help lol. I usually use the net but can't find anything simple lol.

The type i mean is where you don't boil the pasta, you mix it with the sauce and shove it in the oven... i don't know what difference that is from normal pasta sauce, i think it's thicker? Argh brain overload lol.

i think its more likely to be thinner than thicker- cos the pasta needs water to cook, so it'll pull some outta the sauce while its in the oven. you could theoretically just use a normal pasta sauce with a bit of water mixed into it- as long as the pasta was fine enough that it'd cook through in the oven. i think my dad used to do that with skinny spagetti. hmmmm.

I just use regular jarred pasta sauce. I get the vegan one at Trader Joe's.

I make a sauce using some spices, a bit of sugar, oil and tomato paste.

I'm pretty sure that some of the Dolmio ones are vegan though. :)

I found the Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables Dolmio one, which as far as i can see is vegan ;D

Sainsbury do a good range of vegan pasta sauce. Sainsbury also has vegetarian and vegan on the front of products or the back. I do hope you find what you like
