1) What does it mean when the usernames listed at the bottom are in either orange or green?
2) I live in Canada but Im not allowed to post in the Canada forum? I am locked out of all the location forums except for the UK...
3) Is there a quicker way to see if anyone has posted after you on a thread, other finding all your old threads and checking one by one?

1) green are contributing members (they pay a contribution to the site and get special stuff anda warm fluffy feeling from doing a good thing) and orange are the mods. michael (who made and owns the site) is red.
2) how mysterious- sorry, i'm stumped
3) if you're on this site regularly, you can just hit 'new posts' from the menu just below your login stuff, that starts left to right with 'User CP, Blogs, FAQ....' (the first dark stripe down from the top of the page). threads that haven't been updated since your post won't show on it, cos they're not new to you, and any thread on that list which you've posted in at some point will have a dot next to it (so basically, if you've posted on it, and someone else has after you, it'll be new to you and show there- just look for threads with dots.)
otherwise, you can subscribe to threads. on the top right of the top of each open thread (second dark stripe down the page) , is a tab marked 'thread tools'. click on it, and choose 'subscribe to this thread'. then pick whether or not to get emails if that thread is updated (i choose not to). you can check if threads you have subscribed to have been updated, by clicking on the button marked 'user cp', which is to the left of the strip just below where you log in/it says 'welcome paisleyjane' (first dark stripe). you might have to choose 'subscribed threads' from the lefthand menu when you're in user cp to bring up the list of subscriptions but it should be pretty obvious.
i hope some of this makes sense... i'm not feeling very coherant this evening.

#2 - You can't start new threads in the Canadian forum but you should be able to reply to the threads started for each province. It's the same in the US forum (only with states).
#3 - The easiest way IMO is to hit the "new posts" button at the top when you visit. To the left of each topic is an envelope icon. If you've posted in that thread the envelope icon will have a black dot on it. If you click on the down arrow icon it'll take you to the newest reply since your last visit.
I know it all seems a little overwhelming but you'll get the hang of it. Welcome! :)

Hey Thanks!!
I also found "Next Post" and "Previous Post" at the bottom, which is something I was looking for too... something to make the threads easier to flip through.
If anyone has a clue about the Canada forum being locked/UK being open... Im still stumped.
Thanks for your help!! :) :)

You can also subscribe to your threads. You can make new replies emailed to you, or listed in your User CP.
