I shall be needing some imminently - I'm UK based - does anyone have any ideas where to get them from, online or on the high street.

Cheers,

What would make slippers not vegan?

wait, leather or wool. Get them off the market, I'm sure they have some made of misc acryllic or those mad fluffy ones that really can't be wool:think:.

Hehe! That is true. With acrylic or something...My nan used to knit me slippers from expandable wool. Which was exciting!

I like the cloggy kind, with a solid base though. Hmmm.

Well in much the same way as some shoes aren't veggie, it works the same for slippers. The materials might be suede or wool based, or the glues might be animal derived. I just wanted to check. :)

ooh, they're usually more expensive and more likely to be wool or leather. I usually have ones with no backs that hold no shape of their own lol.

Depending on your taste I think a lot of flyflot slippers are completly textile.

I'm not sure if this is the style you are looking for, but here (http://www.alternativeoutfitters.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1393) are some.

I have the real UGG version of these... I bought them a long time ago and while I do hate that they are real, they are really comfortable and oh so warm. Ugh, I hate UGG. I am replacing them this year with the ones above.

Hmm, maybe, though they seem to be outdoorsy shoes really. Nice though...:)
