I have been trying to find people in the Rotherham/Doncaster/sheffield area who would like to start a local group up.
I have been scouring the net and I haven't really found anything for the Rotherham area.
So If any of you are near me and would like to start anything up such as an AR group
Or if there is already these sorts of groups out there but I just haven't found them yet.

Hey, I've just moved to sheffield for uni and there is a great veg*n/AR group called the Sheffield Animal Friends which started through the uni but they're more of a general group now, they do a lot of demoing and also just vegan socials and things, there's some lovely people and they want more members!

They're based in central Sheffield, not sure if they do anything in Rotherham but if you know of any places involved in animal cruelty, like shops selling fur or foie gras (two main things they've been focusing on lately) then I'm sure they would demo there, they support campaigns in Nottingham and further away but they like to do local as well of course! :D

Llamapower-Are you at the Uni or Hallam? I saw the Sheffield Animal Friends at the activities fair & signed up but haven't made it to anything yet. Do they still meet at the Blue Moon on the 1st monday of the month?

There's some really friendly people in the Animal friends and they do loadsa demos even though I haven't managed to get to much..they're having a vegan christmas party on the 14th dec though with an 80s theme...

Yeah the meetings are still first monday of the month, there were loads of people at the first one I went to but less at the last one so it'd be cool if you wanted to go.
