But the old thread we all used is still there of course if you have to find something within it, and to do that I would suppose trying terms "UK and ____" whatever it is your looking for I guess, if understandably you are not inclined to go looking thru every page of the old system.
[& when searching tick "find posts" selection I would recommend in nitpicking thru a thread.]
I'm wondering can we post UK news in the UK forum or would that detract from the international news already in random existence (veggiepatch as it probably is usually for most articles?) .... Anyway my point would it detract =answer= *I think not as long as people know there is a forum for them to post news*, and then they would know where is appropiate and best for UK news heh ?

I have a better suggestion - anyone who wants people to know about events that are already posted in the original UK thread, posts their message as a thread in this forum clearly instead so people don't have to wade through loads of posts to find it :-D

ABOUT UK NEWS...
First of all you know the second paragraph there was me talking about just news, right,
so lets get that straight first of all, and in getting that straight I've posted (& with more detailed illustration) a thread on this to discuss in the UK forum
http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=78803 <<< LOOK HERE FOR WAYS TO POST ABOUT UK NEWS !!! AND GIVE YOUR OPINION... (kindly read what I suggest first as your guide and then hail the damn news and get on with it.....)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~
ie, addressing now looking for Events posted in the old UK thread and which are pine-needles in the haystack: AKA YOUR POINT ABOUT WADING THRU THREADS,
Yeah of course posting "fresh new" threads is what you would do if you have an event which deserves its own thread, you would give it, its own thread. :)
