Which Tom's of Maine deodorant do you recomend and why? Also, is there a scent that you like?

I like the spray deodorants because they have no propylene glycol and dispensing is easy and clean. Lavender is my favorite.

propylene glycol is a liquid that's produced from natural gas and tends to be in a lot of cosmetic and toiletry products.

I'm going to have to look into that deodorant though since I happen to be alergic to propylene glycol. (lucky me)

I like the apricot (stick). I'm somewhat annoyed that Tom's was aquired by Colgate, though :(

Used to use tom's... but found it didn't work too well (laugh) Have you happened to tried Jason Brand??? They make some nice products. I like the Tea Tree.

yup. that's why i abandoned them. i really liked their mango toothpaste :(

..but have since switched to Jason's and really like it.. :)

I considered dropping Tom's as well. But I realized it's no different than buying vegan foods owned by non-vegan companies. I have to draw the line somewhere. Tom's was never tested on animals and contains no animal ingredients. So unless Colgate starts testing Tom's on animals, I'm ok with it, even if it isn't an ideal situation. I might try the jason products again, tried the toothpaste once and hated it. But I didn't like the Tom's the first time I tried it either...

yeah, i just think Colgate is to evil to give my money to...

i really like Jasons toothpaste. it's a lil pasty, but it makes my teeth squeaky clean:kiss: i can't remember the exact flavor, but i'm sure it's sumthin like apricot or mango...

ha! i just remembered i also keep a tube of it at my office. this one is orange, cinnamon & mint. seriously, squeaky clean...
