Hey everyone,

I'm just really curious, and I want to know what breeds we have! Or what mix of breeds

I have a male american bulldog, english bulldog, pitbull, and bullmastiff mix.
He is of course the best ;D

Pit/lab sounds like an interesting combination. I'm sure shes a wonderful dog! Both of those breeds are so great.

She is part husky and part something else. Here's (http://www.flickr.com/photos/10240065@N05/854046098/) a picture--maybe someone who knows dogs can see what the other breed(s) is/are. (Okay, or maybe I just like showing off my dog). :)

Sam is a podengo/beagle cross.

(He just came home from the Humane Society with us on the weekend! It's been a crazy week but I'm so happy to have him as part of the family.)

I hestitated to respond cause one of our dogs just passed away 3 weeks ago and I didnt want to exclude Alfalfa, so I have decided to include him in the list of dogs we have even though he is passed on.

Alfalfa: a face exactly like a pointer, a curly tail and torso like a rottweiler. :smitten: We miss him terribly. :(

Riley: American Eskimo mix, looks purebred except too big. He is such a sweetheart! :) He really misses Alfalfa. :(

Henry: Soon to be adopted!!!!! :D Henry is what is known as a lurcher and is a greyhound/coonhound mix. Henry was used in illegal dog races and abused. :( But there's a happy ending, he is coming home with us!!!!! I appreciate Henry's rescuers so much and what they did for him.

Congratulations Cookingveg! Today I've had my dog for only three weeks, but time has flown. He is a 18 month old rescue :)

Dog 1 is a Jack Russel / Blue Heeler mix
Dog 2 is a dark shepherd / rott mix
Dog 3 is a rhodesian ridgeback and pit bull mix

All 3 curl up with me when I take naps. :D We call them beans because they look like little lima beans, the way they lay on the bed. They are one of my favorite reasons for being alive, to be honest.

Addie is something like a Lab-Staffordshire Terrier Mix (very high energy, attentive, loyal).

Jake is an abnormally large Golden Retriever (epitome of a golden ... easy going, loves to swim and retrieve, carries his stuffed animals around very gently).

Jessie is something like a Husky-Collie-German Shepard Mix (protective, possessive, and stubborn, but sooo sweet and loves people).

Hard to see, but this is the only photo I have with all three dogs ...

I have a chow (possibly mixed), a labrador mix, and two downright mutts. One is a terrier cross thing (25-30 pounds, so not the typical terrier) and the other could be a corgi crossed with a beagle, or maybe some chihuahua in there somewhere.

I have 4 dogs. :D

Beattie (http://www.veggieboards.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=7541&catid=member&imageuser=24760), she a Red and White Basset Hound. She's 10 years old, has cancer and a heart murmur so we don't know how long we have left with her. :(
Bertie (http://www.veggieboards.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=7525&c=member&imageuser=24760). He's a Grand Basset Griffon Vendéen. Go here (http://bgvclub.co.uk/) for more info about the breed.
Luna (http://www.veggieboards.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=7527&catid=member&imageuser=24760) a 17 months old Yellow Labrador.
The latest edition to the pack: Hester (http://www.veggieboards.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=7581&catid=member&imageuser=24760). She a 4 months old tri-coloured Basset Hound.

Paddy (http://www.veggieboards.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=7522&catid=member&imageuser=24760) died last year but I still miss him dreadfully so I want to include him. He was a German Shepard/Labrador mix.

My first Doberman got me over thirty years ago, since then I have not been without one or more of these magnificant dogs. I recently added Pearl the Horny PitBull to my clan, she is without a doubt the comedian of our family.

Oh, Iria, I think your dog may have a little Hound blood in it, maybe Salukie or Greyhound, does it like to chase by sight or scent.

That's interesting. I can kind of see that in her face. I wiki'd those breeds and she does have that strong chasing instinct--almost entirely by sight (she goes berserk looking out the window at things so small or far away that sometimes we can't even see anything).
