Anyone tried this?

http://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/

I started this a week ago. I have really sensitive skin and wanted to try something that was cheap and easy on my skin.

It felt wierd the first couple of days, but after that I started to notice a really big difference on my skin. It feels great..and not oily at all. :)

I might try this, I've got a bad problem with blackheads and excess oil. Anything's worth a go.

It worked horribly for me, but I used almond oil because I couldn't find castor oil. I'm going to look for some and try it again.

it took me forever to find it, I ended up finding it in walgreens hidden behind another bottle - it'll be in the laxatives.

The castor oil is where the laxatives are..usually on the bottom shelf..hehe. Because my skin is pretty dry, I use a mix of 20% castor oil and 80% olive oil. The ratio you use depends on what your skin is like.

Olive oil alone made me break out really bad even though they said it can't do that. And I have super dry skin. I'm curious about the castor oil, however.

I have just been washing with pure olive oil and I feel that my complexion looks and feels better. No more blotches or tightness.

Fascinating! I've seen some of you mention this in other threads. Does it really work? I'm terrified, just like the article assumes I am, that the oil will block my pores and cause a serious breakout. Not true? I might try this... I still want to know more though.

I do this and it works for me. I am lazy and don't do it every night so that is when my skin will start to break out, after a couple days, so i just wash with oil again and i wake up the next day with much improved skin. I have combination skin and have had trouble with acne for at least 10 years of my life. I wouldn't say this has worked miracles for me, as I still have blackheads and acne scars. However it works just as well as the prescribed acne cream I was using (maybe a little better since my cheeks don't break out anymore) so I enjoy the cheapness of it.

ETA: I've also noticed I have more of a "glow" to my skin when I actually do this regularly. Prescribed or store bought washes and creams made parts of my skin dry. even moisturizers weren't enough to fix it really.
