I was running 25 miles a week in the middle of summer. Wow I was feeling terrific. Then I had an overuse injury to my heel. So now, until I'm fully healed, I do mt. biking. The injury hasn't effected my strength routine that I have been doing consistently two to three times per week (12 and 15lb dumb bells mostly).
Today I'll be bike riding for 40 minutes and strength training for 45 minutes. A big day planned.

I swam 3,500 yards this morning. I'll be getting on my bike for a quick 1 hour spin when I get out of work tonight.

I went to work and dropped a bookcase on my stomach, ran over my foot with a furniture cart, slammed my hand in the trash compacter door and as I was pushing a pallet out the door and down the steps it caught my shirt and flung me onto my butt. But that was mostly painful, not really a workout...

As soon as I finish cooking dinner I'm going for a two mile walk with the Boxer pup (well, she's 18 months) .

- Just went on trampoline for about a half hour (gymnastics)

- Rode bike for a little bit before that

- Might do treadmill later- probably for about half an hour; if I can't do treadmill I'll do a certain very intense 11 minute ab workout (it's free on Comcast On Demand!)

I did 15mins on the elliptical, a half hour of strength training and then 25 mins of speed walking on a treadmill on a high incline.

Felt good to sweat today. I'm just getting back into working out after basically taking August off (all I did was walk alot in August).

I walked 3 miles this morning (takes me about 45 minutes). I was a jogger wannabe for awhile but I never stopped feeling miserable out there, and I actually look forward to my walk!

There's nothing wrong with walking! It's a nice meditative exercise, and you don't have much of a risk for injury (assuming you stay out of traffic and watch for potholes). Several years ago, I managed to lose 20lbs with walking as my only exercise. :o

I agree, walking can be great exercise!

That being said, I ran 4 miles this morning, and will do a 1hr, 15 min swim this afternoon. I'm still swimming outside but the water's getting a bit chilly!!

I usually run about 6-7 miles per day, 7 days a week, and combine that with yoga three days per week, weight training 1 day a week as well as cycling to and from uni. I love exercise :D

An hour on the elipse and stress from relatives...does that count? It certainly raises the heart rate...

half mile warm up, followed by 8 half mile repeats done in about 3:35-3:45 each, then 10 minutes of abs

(after reading other people's posts, this doesnt seem so great, but it felt so good)

my job is a workout in itself. 9 hours at a warehouse of lifting heavy boxes and going as fast as i can = mostly upper body workout, kinda cardio. also about 30 minutes worth of walking to and from bus stop and work, home.

yesterday I did the same thing, but also with 40 minutes of yoga. I might do yoga again tonight if I don't fall asleep first.
