Strange in Stereo - In the Woods...
Irrational Anthems - Skyclad

It's hard to decide between Swordfishtrombones, Rain Dogs and Frank's Wild Years.

This is really an impossible question to answer, but three very decent albums would be: A Passion Play (Jethro Tull), Tales from Topographic Oceans (Yes) and of course Thijs van Leer's Introspection.
It's hard to decide between Swordfishtrombones, Rain Dogs and Frank's Wild Years.
Rain Dogs is a good one - I listen to it sometimes. But I'm not sure I would rate it that high!

If this was a choose 4 thread, Ritual would be on my list too. And Jane's was the best live show I ever saw.

They were amazing live. I saw them on the Ritual tour, and also at the first Lollapalooza (that one was a near-religious experience for me).

I saw them in '91. I was 16 or 17 and have yet to see a better show. I missed Lollapalooza . Two years ago I saw The Doors in Atlantic City and Perry Ferrell came out and did a song with them. THAT was cool!
OK, I'm done hijacking, sorry :dunce:
