OK. I'd post as Secret Santa except for the fact - THAT I CAN'T!!

No matter how many times I log out or change browsers or what not, I'm still logged in as mikie!!

clear your cookies mikie...sometimes it still sees you as username 'mikie' because your cookies are stored on your computer. :)

Ummm... I know where log out is, but it doesn't work. No matter how many times I log out I am still logged in and it still says "Welcome Back Mikie!"

Mikie, its a combination of cache and cookies and "temporary" files causing you grief.

First of all, go to your Internet Explorer options and clear your cookies and temporary internet files.

Then close your browser using Windows Explorer, view the contents of your hard drive... scroll down to view the windows folder, and then temporary internet files. Delete any file there relating to VB or empty the folder completely if you want.

Then view windows\cookies and delete all cookies for vb.

Of course, it would be just as easy to use another browser like Netscape or Opera to login as the Secret Santa without messing with all of the above cause you may delete cookies you WANT to have for other sites.

I'm bumping and sticking (that sounds naughty :naughty:) this since we'll probably run into it again this year.

All I did was logout twice, the first time it said cleared cookies but it still said Hello Shewolf and the second time I was unregistered... mush easier than going and deleting all my IE files!

Yeah, I have not tried it myself. The original suggestion above was for a previous version of VB (more than a year ago) that never really functioned with the logout link properly.

This thread is so messed up. I have no idea what the title means, it's been viewed a bazillion times, and I'm referring to Ana who's never posted in it. :D
