I'd really like to buy more hemp products, but I can't find anything that's really in my price range (dirt cheap). Any suggestions?

I recently ordered a couple of hemp shirts from a company called Ecolution. They are really nice shirts, but I wouldn't say they were 'dirt cheap'

Did you buy them directly from ecolution or from a web site, and if a web site, which one? I've bought a couple of things from rawganique but their web site frequently lists items that aren't actually available -- I'm sick of placing an order and having it cancelled when an item is out of stock.

We saw tons of hemp stuff in Canada, but NONE of it was even remotely cheap. I have no idea where you'd get anything in the US.

You can go to http://Natural Nirvana.com. You click on Search Site For Products at the very top of the page. They have lots of products. Good supply of hemp products. Everything is vegetarian or vegan. Don't know about dirt cheap though.

Thanks for the replies all. I might try getting something used off ebay. Maybe if hemp clothing starts to catch on in the mainstream prices will go down? I read that hemp products do last a long time, maybe it's worth more of an investment? I'm just not used to paying that much for clothes.

I also read that hemp fabric is more course than other natural fibers. Anyone comments on how hemp clothes feel?

I was just in a hemp clothing store last week, on vacation (yeah, I think I said that earlier). The clothes made of woven materiel DID feel a bit coarse. Like a heavier, slightly rougher weave linen fabric.
I tried on one shirt and didn't care for it because of the texture. The saleswoman said it does soften up "a little" with washing, but I don't know what that means exactly. Plus they recommended hand washing only. (If I handwashed all my clothes everything would last three times as long!!)
That said, I did try on a tee-shirt made of knit-type fabric (like a regular tee-shirt) and it was just as soft as any other tee-shirt. But it was 70$ Canadian - and had to be dry-cleaned.

I'm really interested in hemp clothing too, but so far, haven't found anything that works for me.

And since we're talking hemp... here's a picture my daughter took last week, also while we were on vacation.
In case you can't tell, it's The "Hemp Nationalists" on parade. (whoever they are, but that's what they told us... can you see the hemp flags?)
Not a very big "parade" but they were running so fast she barely got a picture.:bobo:
