im thinking about going to clipless peddles. id much prefer mountain to road shoes as i am not very graceful and dont wanna feel like im ice skating while walking around. also, it would be awesome if i could find all this in a vegan shoe.
any suggestions? thanks:cool:

avocado,
i'm not sure if you are familiar with brendan brazier, who is a famous vegan triathlete who developed 'vega' products. anyway, maybe you can contact him or his 'people' and see... he really, really advocates veganism and i would think he would use them if they exist.

I Googled 'synthetic cycling shoes' and got a whole swag of results. :)

avocado, when you settle on one, will you post again? I'll be interesting in seeing what you find. I'm considering going clipless as well.

i emailed sidi shoes asking about materials, including animal- based glues and i was told all of sidi's shoes are vegan friendly, no animal by-products:):vebo:

heres the website: http://www.sidiusa.com/

That's awesome, avocado!

Another option, depending on how you feel about second-hand leather (OK, technically it's third-hand since it belonged to the animal first), is to go to a used sporting goods place and see what they have. But it's also great to support vegan goods suppliers.

Uh, wow. Those are expensive! Awesome that they are vegan. I'll stick to normal shoes I guess. :p
